Starbursts are a conundrum. They are square pieces of taffy that taste like, oranges, lemons, or cherries. But, how do they get like that? What makes them chewy and what makes them so flavorful? Why is it that the flavor of these square candies are so irresistible and addicting? The same can be said about any candy, why are they so addicting? It could be the simple fact of how enticing the taste can be, or because of the amount of sugar inside the product. But in the end, it’s just a small, square piece of candy that has an abundance of flavor that hits you like a truck. It makes you salivate as you chew it until it disappears forever and leaves an after taste that dwells in your mouth like lawyers outside a court room. All in all,
