The battles happening in Star Wars show how the universe is shaped, who gains superiority over their galactic country, and shows which group has the greater power of the 2 nations. First off, it can be telling us how there are always going to be different empires that rise after another falls, this is shown by Darth Vader dying and the Death Star being destroyed and then Kylo Ren rises to the top of the chain and leading a new army. Another thing shown in Star Wars is that betrayal is always a very big impact in any conflict, in the future or in the present, since the whole plot of Episode 7 was based around 1 Stormtrooper betraying. Finally, Star Wars could be trying to show that gazing and dreaming about what you can accomplish, having hope in that specific thing, and putting your mind to it is going to be a big part is completing anything, especially in the future, where creating something for the better of people is going to be even more difficult.
