“To boldly go where no man has gone before” (Star Trek: The Original Series) is not the only motive for exploring the cosmos. Whether we like it or not, the universe we live in is the ultimate home in which the Earth is merely a room and, with every tremor and creek of its walls and floors, the Earth is affected. As was emphasized throughout the beloved Star Trek series, human curiosity is a powerful force, a force that led us to the moon and eventually the construction of a space station where anyone from any country can live sharing a common goal, space exploration.
