I represented Mr. Shatner in this week’s simulation. The first thing we talked about in our negotiation was how many characters from Star Track would be in the play. My original strategy was to inform the theater that Mr. Shatner did not want any members from the Star Track franchise to be in the play. The theater then asked me why I did not want characters from Star Track in the play. I informed them that Mr. Shatner wanted to start a new project that did not have any affiliation with star track. The theater then asked if we could use characters who had a smaller role in the movie. If they would have said they wanted to have tickets prices at $100, I would have asked why and tried to see if I could have persuaded them to lower there prices. Therefore, we agreed that the ticket prices would be $50. Although we were suppose to negotiate perks, we ran out of time. However, during class discussion, the theater stated that he would give me all the perks that I was allowed to

Some of these jobs include making sure each child has the best education possible, think about the community’s viewpoint, and keeping the budget as close to the given amount as they can. When I first learned we had to attend a school board meeting as one of the assignments for this class, I wasn’t too thrilled, just because many meetings go over the same thing and it would be a bit of a hassle to go there. At this point, before going to the meeting, I was still in the point of view when I was in high school, but I soon realized that as a future teacher I should care…
