Marco Diaz was nervous, no, scratch that he was absolutely terrified. He knew for a fact that he loved Star, he had known ever since he had been forced to let her go when they were kids, but was he really ready for this? Was he ready to spend the rest of his life with Star, every morning, every afternoon, every night. Was he ready to place all his trust and vulnerability in this one person?

Soon, the Wedding March song came on and all the people stood. Star looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle, her hair curled and put into a low ponytail with a braid on the top of her hair like a headband. Also in her hair was her crown from when she had been Queen of Mewni with a short veil that stopped at her mid back attached to it. Her makeup

When the couple began to say their vows the once quiet air now filled with sniffles as tears ran down the guests faces. After the vows the guests awwed as Marco’s 3-year-old cousin, dressed in a cute bear costume (Star’s idea), went to Star and Marco with the rings on a pillow.

“Do you, Star Butterfly, accept Marco Diaz as your lifemate and one true love, promising to share in all that life offers and suffers, to be there for him in times of need, to soothe him in times of pain, and to support him in all endeavors big and small?”

“I do,” Star said as she slipped the ring onto his finger.

“Do you, Marco Diaz, accept Star Butterfly as your lifemate and one true love, promising to share in all that life offers and suffers, to be there for her in times of need, to soothe her in times of pain, and to support her in all endeavors big and small?”

“Do you trust her?”

“Do you want to spend the rest of your life with her?”

As Marco took the ring from the pillow he flashbacked to their most important times together.
