Assign “Executive Champions” of each task to designate responsibility and timing expectations to each task given. Additionally, the entire Executive Management and core functional representative teams of Staples, Inc. complete and approve the final version of the new Staples, Inc. Vision Statement to prepare for official roll-out activities throughout the region or organization. Regional roll-out is recommended to ensure sufficient attention is given to each location. Create “leadership” or “teacher” teams by utilizing voluntary recruiting methods used for core functional team volunteers to become models of the new Vision and to hold internal workshops and form committees for continuous improvement training or organizational improvements (I.e. Leadership , Listening, Associate Involvement Activities). Ensure all associates are allowed to volunteer and there are no assigned members.
Review incomplete 0-12 month “quick win” tasks and reissue tasks to ensure prompt completion. Review remaining long-term tasks to address completion barriers, status, and progress. Continue voluntary “more/less” sessions to have new issues recognized and capable of being addressed and sort in the same manner as the previous issues needing attention.
Promote associate activities and participation (I.e. potlucks, outings, group volunteering, departmental competitions) and reward
