The Variant of “Valsas Brasileiras” That I listened to was performed by Xiao Hu at Luther College. I found The piece on YouTube (https://youtu.be/u-14qal0xv4). This piece has very steady tempo throughout the entire piece. The tone would rise occasionally due to the other instrument being played alongside the piano. The piano did display some monotone methods through the piece but in all I felt it t was a great in comparison to other videos I had seen.
The other piece I listened to in correspondence with the concert I attended was the variant of “Schubert: Impromptu” by Olga Jegunova at Bishopsgate Institute (London). I found this piece on YouTube (https://youtu.be/w_z9oSn-eIM). This piece was exciting if yet anything it almost sounds as if its a Capriccio type of piece with its random espressivo in the piece. I was fond of the pianist talents as she displayed all the details of this piece by emphasizing but yet disguising the G flat because at first I thought I heard something else possibly even another instrument at first glance. …show more content…
I expect the sound quality to be extraordinary better than the recordings I listen to. There should probably be like a vibrations flowing through the pianist hits every not if its correlated with speakers. As of my current musical taste I don’t exactly expect it to fit in with my genre of music but some instrumentals I listen to incorporate this kind of music. So it should be interesting if this music sparks some interest in myself while im
