Family, to Stanley, is a matter of high priority. Though the old codger gripes and groans about the hard work of taking care of his great niece and nephew, he ultimately adores them. This love is showcased through several instances, such as rescuing his niece's pet pig from a pterodactyl, holding against a horde of the undead, or sacrificing his memories (later regained) to save his niece and nephew.
