Stanley Kubrick was born on 26 July 1928 in Manhattan, New York City, New York in the United States of America. He was the first of two born to Jacob L. Kubrick and Sadie G. Kubrick (née Perveler), who were both Jewish. Although Stanley Kubrick was born into a Jewish family, he was not raised Jewish. Stanley Kubrick later became an atheist. His sister, Barbara M.
