What I have learned about the university that I have been doing as an assignment on is a lot of things because I didn't know anything about Stanford University before this project. My group members and I have each learned something important about this University. I have learned that it's one of the world's leading technological universities. I have also learned that in order to get into this university you have to have at least a 4.8 gpa that tells me that the students there are very hard working students because the maximum gpa is 4.0 meaning that you have to take honors classes in high school. I know for a fact that if I wanted to go to this university I would have to work three times as hard because only the smartest or best students go their.
Stanford history started when it was founded in 1885 by Leland and Jane Stanford in memory of their only child who died at the age of fifteen do to typhoid fever. It's original name was The Leland Stanford Jr University but knows it's known as Stanford University. Stanford University's motto is”The wind of freedom blows”. It's also known that its undergraduate program is the most selective in America. In Stanford it's not like you barely know anyone there that's the opposite since 90% of undergraduates live in dorms you will most likely know a lot of people. Some of Stanford's rules are Mobile food vendor policy and their bike share policy. Stanford University is also located in Palo Alto. It's incredible that it's 130 years old but at the same time I'm not surprised because through all these years it's been a leading
