I am applying specifically to the Stanford program because my faith and my education emphasize in servicing underserved communities, provide quality patient-centered health care in teamwork, while considering ethical and professional behavior with peers, patients and families. These are the core values of Stanford University.
I am attracted to this institution also because it expectation set high standard for individual in health care
2. What makes you a good candidate to the Stanford Program
I am an honest, empathetic, and hardworking student. My education and my faith that has been with me through my life, shaped me. I have been doing well with my major that emphasizes in teamwork and helping others by volunteering in hospital settings.

Obstacles and challenges
As an indigent midwife’s daughter, I have gone sometimes all day to help my mother deliver limited care with little or nothing to eat. I experiences uncertainties.
In American my children and I were homeless and hungry. Despite the obstacles and challenges, I earned good grades in my anatomy and physiology class, as well as in many others. I am highly motivated to succeed, and deliver quality patient- centered health care in primary care and medically undeserved communities in California.
5. Future goals and ambitions
Becoming a Physician Assistant is a goal aspired to by many. As an indigent midwife’s daughter, I experienced challenges and hard work similar to that faced by the physician assistant today. I am looking forward to taking courses such as pathophysiology, pharmacology, and pre-clinical coursework.
I am interested in the physician assistant in particular because I want to be part of the solution. I want to work in California undeserved communities to respond to the physician assistant
