Standing up for what you believe in is significant in our lives. The reasonableness of why it’s important to take a stand on what your beliefs are is because it motivates you to be more confident about yourself.
Confidence will encourage you to stand up for what you believe in. Even if before you thought it was impossible to stand up for yourself since all the negative thoughts in your mind clouded up your mind. For example, in the book To Kill A Mockingbird, Atticus is in court trying to convince the jury that Tom Robinson is not guilty. He stands up for himself with courage on what he believes is the truth about what actually happened in the day Tom Robinson was accused of raping Mayella.
