Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback of the Packers said “This is about equality.” and he also said “This is about unity and love and growing together as a society.” Kaepernick first took a knee 13 months ago in a preseason game that went unnoticed but as he kept sitting for the anthem someone finally noticed and took a picture of it. This sparked something huge that is obviously still going on now but Kaepernick was now just released from the NFL. When this all started it was just Kaepernick alone and he was protesting black equality and was alone in the act, now 13 months later he has all of NFL and fans protesting equality and also our own President, Donald Trump.
