The community health nurse uses harm reduction principles in order to identify and reduce the related harms associated with particular unhealthy behaviors (CHNC, 2011, p. 12). Similarly, the community health nurse engages in collaborative partnership to address health risks of the population (p. 13). In fact, we have done this by collaborating with community stakeholders and key informants and reviewed data from NCHA, 2013 that helped us to identify the existing issue within our population i.e., students engagement in heavy alcohol assumption and related outcomes. Everyone in our group has participated in research and professional activities.Within our group, we have all worked collaboratively to complete our report, done literature review and gathered information from secondary data sources. I have arrived on time for clinical adhering to MRU dress code and completed all assignments in timely manner. I have always felt accountable to my group as well as our population. I have contributed proactively to the quality of the work environment by identifying needs, issues and solutions, using conflict resolution skills and collaborative decision making. For example, working on the report part A and creating survey questions online. I have sought help from my instructor and peers where needed, provided constructive feedback to peers as needed to enhance community health nursing practice, and most importantly, been amenable to comments from peers, instructor, community stakeholders and key informants. Reflecting on nursing practice, I have improved personal community health nursing practice. I am accountable for my actions and answerable for my practice and decision that I make. Therefore, I have always ensure that I clearly represent myself and maintain fitness to practice. I have done my best to demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability.
