Students are human beings to and there's to high of an expectation set. Standardized testing should not measure the knowledge of an individual based on the number they received on the test. Standardized testing does not allow students to be themselves. Students get discouraged and just give up if they don't get the score that is acceptable or what they are told to get to be on track for college. Standardized testing is creating “winners” and “losers” and the “losers” in this case may not get into colleges that they want to go to because they didn't get the score that was set for that college. Which isn't fair because the person could have a great personality or even be a good student in other subject that aren't on standardized
