Gregory J. Cizek, an education researcher, stated that standardized test causes huge anxiety and stress on students4. Moreover, teaching to the test is gradually become the mainstream teaching still but not high cognitive and high order thinking content in the curriculum5, thus students cannot study useful things but only testing. This directly lead “creativity crisis” in US, which represents students’ creativity get jeopardize and may damage the economy6. More importantly, by Jiang Xueqin, a professor in Peking University, students cannot prepare for their productive adult lives by only studying standardized test7.
Similarly, standardized test cost greatly but it has not many positive effects on students. Test publishers always spend billions of dollars on scoring but still have many errors. For example, American Institutes for Research, the test publisher in Hawaii, had to re-grade 98,000 tests after students receive scores for submitting blank test booklets8. Also, test industry keep increasing cost, thus leading state finance get more burden. According to Texas Education Agency, the test costs increase 79 million dollars from 2003 to 20129 , which lead taxpayers
