The use of testing has led many teachers to decrease projects and activities in the classroom settings. Students that are severe disabled are still required to take the test.
Teachers are overwhelmed with preparing the students for the test so they leave the profession. The students are prepared but fail to still cheat. The teachers are scared that the scores aren't going to show progress. Standardized testing isn't preparing the students for college or future careers. The test is benefiting companies to make money of the students. So often the students scores don't measure what the student learned in that particular subjects.
