For the deans, directors, and chairs, recommendations include having the faculty well-equipped with resources to assess student’s competence, continuous evaluation of policies regarding standardized testing, and create a supportive environment that promotes student learning. The NLN also generated its own recommendations to be followed such as, continue with research on fair testing, promote the fair testing guideline, consult with other organizations, and persuade the board of nursing in utilizing fairness in testing (National League for Nursing, 2012). Although there are many complexities that surrounds fair testing, the main purpose of it is to provide nursing schools the ability to incorporate the four main values of NLN. In doing so, nursing students will be able to progress successfully in their career and become a competent nurse. This is the best result that each nursing school is trying to achieve
