Standard 8: Remunerative Conduct Educators should always abide by district policies. School districts have policies that prohibit soliciting of any form including providing services. Additionally, selling items such as pencils, paper, and candy is forbidden as well.
Standard 9: Maintenance of Confidentiality Educators are exposed to a lot of student information. When students enter school, it is a requirement for parents to write personal information on the registration forms along with providing documentations for proof of address. This information is input into the student records, which builds and becomes more comprehensive over the years. Additionally, students’ medical information is included in these records as well.
