The artifact I chose for standard 6 was the letter I wrote to my student’s parents for PED 356. This letter was sent to the parents of the student to inform them of the behavior I noticed, improvements made through out the semester, and skills that could be worked on at home.
The letter to parents from PED 356 relates to Element 6.4 because in the letter I demonstrate my ability to discuss some weaknesses that could be improved in a respectful and sensitive manor. I first discussed in the letter the great personality the student expressed during class and all the improvement she made through out the semester. I showed sensitivity to the student with the disability by focusing on her strengths in the letter and then describing ways to improve
