Miss Maudie’s house burned down one day, and the neighbors walked out and helped her and tried to save some of her belongings. At the same time, Boo Radley was out there and put a blanket on Scout without her knowing. Him doing this requires courage, because he would’ve gotten caught and exposed. If he did get caught, he would've gotten in trouble.1 But he wanted to help out Scout, even though she hates that he was even near her at the time. Scout and Jem were walking outside one day, and Bob Ewell suddenly attacked them and started hurting Jem. Scout tried to get away but she had to try to help Jem. But then Boo came out and helped Jem get out of there and Bob died. Boo risked his own life for someone else, Jem, just so he could be safe. He also killed Bob just so Jem and Scout could be safe and not harmed. So all Boo wants to do is make sure everyone is safe, and wants to protect the people around him or the people he cares about.6
