This phrase can show how not standing up for something makes you ignorant, and how standing for something you believe makes you a right, steady, loyal person. Someone that everyone will trust in any situation because they will know that you are not looking for convenience or commodity.
For example, my favorite American football team is the Broncos of Denver, either way they lose or win I will be true to them, and I am not replacing them with the winners of the season. If I changed team every season for the one that wins, there
