We would like to thank you for your time and letting us be involved in your non-profit organization. Trough the information given to us by you, we were able to see that there are two main problems that Austin Pets Alive faces. For starters, not having funding for workers/volunteers is an issue that affects not only the workers, but also the animals because they will lack the help they need on a daily basis. In addition, the animals not having much human interaction is also something that affects the organization. Therefore, through long consideration we came up with some ideas that we believe would further help the organization.
Some of our ideas include:
1. Hosting a auction event, where the items would be donated by the community for the soul purpose of raising money for APA!

Hosting an event such as a 5K run where the people could run with their pets. This not only would create awareness, but would also help with raising money for APA!
3. Our last suggestion would be that from all the money collected from events like such, you’ll would put aside a percentage of the money away for the employees such as those that clean the

President Obama’s Task Force Plan differs from the Anti-corruption Task Force plans in circumstances and purpose, but some of its strategies would greatly benefit Hanahan by adding more structure to the Department and in turn preventing Police Corruption like Sheriff Dewitt’s DUI and hit and run, which is a major goal for the implementation of a plan (Knapp). This situation that initiated the development of President Obama’s Task Force Plan is different from Sheriff Dewitt’s in several ways, but the most relevant difference is the fact that the issues surrounding the Ferguson case was racially charged. The local issue that I identified in the Berkeley County case was police officer corruption and how secrecy and lack of consequences could negatively…

The Aquarius Aquarium Institute is a non-profit organization founded on January 3, 2000 “to foster respect, understanding and conservation of the world’s aquatic ecosystems through educational programs, interpretive exhibits, scientific research and aquarium propagation of aquatic species” (http://aquariusaquarium.org/about-the-institute/). Our main task at hand is to raise awareness for the Aquarius Aquarium Institute and raise donation to fund for the aquarium. There needs to be an emphasis that the Fresno Aquarium is one of the many projects by the organization. Other than the aquarium, the Aquarius Aquarium Institute also have educational programs, such as the mentoring program with students from the Center for Advanced Research and Technology…

Do you think that kids should get trophies for anything they do? I don’t. Some people think that their child deserves to get a trophy for anything they do like: just showing up, catching a ball, riding a bike and other simple things like that. Some people are asking sports coaches if their children get a trophy for everything and if the answer is yes then some might just walk away. I’m sure I would.…

In New York City, there are many attractions, and historical landmarks to visit. One landmark that I would genuinely love to visit would be Camegie Hall. As someone who is very involved in music, I have always dreamed of visiting there. Carnegie Hall is one of the most prestigious music venues in America. My high school choir was invited to sing there under Dr. Johnson, who is the choral director at the University of Kentucky, but unfortunately, getting Harlan County School Board approval was out of the question at the time due to their meeting date for the month and lack of interest in our music program.…

I have owned a total of four dogs and two cats in my short eighteen years of life. To say the least, I’ve always loved animals, specifically dogs. They’re fun loving, easily excitable creatures who bring out the best in all of us. Unfortunately, many of them are without families living in pounds and worst, some are living in abusive homes. After many years of weeping to Sarah McLachlan's singing, “ In the Arms of an Angel” and promising to help save the lives of the many dogs and cats without loving homes, I finally have the chance to actually help.…

Attending the 2016 Health and Wellness Fair in Perris California was truly enlightening and I walked away with much information. When I arrived at the fair, we got to meet professionals in their field of health and see quite a few informational booths with interesting concepts and resources to help the community. Some were very creative and well done. One of them was West Coast University who had this little x-ray booth, where you could grab a stuffed bear, name it, and take the bear to get x rayed. They stated that they wanted to show kids that it wasn’t scary to go get an x-ray, and to not be afraid of the doctors.…
