Impact of Stakeholder Loyalty: Stakeholder loyalty has a huge impact on Monticello Elementary Schools (MES) performance, but it “starts with developing a common vision, motto, goals, and beliefs because those things impact the decisions made at the local level, and they impact staff’s willingness to share and take ownership within their positions and rolls (Julie Holt September 26, 2017).” Students are also impacted, and take ownership in regards to respect for the school, respect for rules, and learning when common vision, motto and belief systems are in place, which effect the school, classroom, and small …show more content…
Recommendations for Improvement: The process can be improved by continuing to listen to all constituents- minute to minute there will be needs and concerns that arise, and the principal may have to act by making quick decisions, which will be in the best interest for everyone, including the students, and stakeholders. The principal will not be able to act on every recommendation, but knowing when to act reasonably, and at crucial times will be important in providing improvement, and communicating to parents why the school does what they do. “By providing parent’s details, and training parents to come in and talk goes a long way to producing loyalty between the school and all of the stakeholders (Holt, September 26, 2017).” Principal Holt believes in an open door policy, a safe platform where conversation can happen, so that when people come into her office, they know they will be heard, conversation will take place, and problem solving will happen. Recommendations for Improvement: One way I could see the school improving is by holding focus team meetings. Anytime any organization in the schools need to refocus, or talk about things, pull the team together to save time in the long haul. Having little focus meetings can build trust with those who collaborate, including administration, and the program, plus the whole team becomes empowered to do a better job at what they do. Consequently, the more support administration can give in a program teachers and staff are expected to teach, the better they will do if they know they are supported, and know exactly what to
