I will explain the stages of the writing process with the class and go through each stage through a three day lesson. Day one I will talk about planning or prewriting and explain that it is the the process of of actually getting ready to write. Prewriting is where you plan what you are going to write. In this stage of writing you will use a graphic organizer to gather all your information and ideas about what you want to write about.Prewriting involves techniques such as brainstorming,clustering, and free writing. Prewriting helps you as the writer think more clearly
