When she was seven-years-old, she convinced her older brother that they should go off to the land of the Moors and beg them. Out of the love of God, to cut off our heads there, but an uncle had found them and brought them back home (Catholic Online 3). St. Teresa had faced so many challenges in her life that led her to sacrifice many things. When St. Teresa was 18 years old, she had to leave her family to become a missionary in India. Many people right now, are influenced by St. Teresa by all her acts of kindness towards people.
