The saint I choose to pray to and imitate and whose name I have chosen for the Sacrament of Confirmation is St. Sebastian and his feast day is January 20th.
St. Sebastian was an amazing man who made people's lives better following God’s example. For example, he cured many people who had many types of diseases. He once cured a woman who was deaf mute. This is important because that woman wasn’t hearing anything and it changed her life to love God even more. Another example was he was ordered to be executed and was shot with arrows, and was left to die. A widow came to recover him and noticed he was still alive she nursed him and brought him back to healthy. This is important because he was able to stick up for himself. One more example was

St. Sebastian had many virtues throughout his life. One example of a virtue that he had was caring for others. Saint Sebastian thought of others and even respected the Roman army, even if they didn’t deserve it. He didn't follow directions to persecute some Christians and said he loved Jesus in front of the emperor. St. Sebastian was martyred twice for his acts.
St. Sebastian definitely followed Jesus in all that he did. One way he did this was by respecting everyone even if they were different, like the Roman soldiers, and was killed for doing what was right even if it wasn’t right in other’s minds. He preached just as Jesus did and helped many men and woman convert to be Christians and follow Jesus’ example and even St. Sebastian’s example.
I could follow St. Sebastian is a lot of different ways. For instance, I could stand up for what is right in my mind even if it isn’t what other might think of it. This especially important because it would help me feel a lot better that I did what was right, and it will build self-confidence for my life. Another way I could follow St. Sebastian is by living how he and Jesus lived and that is by being very kind and respectful to everybody around me, even if they are being rude to me or anybody else. This is very important because it helps me become a better person towards others and then others will respect me back. One more way I could be like St. Sebastian is becoming a leader towards other people and

That Saint that I chose to be my model throughout confirmation and to base my Saint report on is Saint Michael the Archangel. The reason why I chose Saint Michael the Archangel is because he is the patron of grocers, soldiers, mariners, paratroopers, police and sickness. What caught my attention about Saint Michael the Archangel is that he is a patron of police and soldiers. Ever since I was little, I would always watch movies and TV shows involving police and soldiers because I admired them so much. I was inspired by their strength and bravery; fighting off bad people in the world who are harming others/causing trouble and risking their lives just to save others.…

While they were in jail there parents came to visit them and try to persuade them to renounce their faith; however, Sebastian convinced both parents to convert to Christianity. St. Sebastian also converted several other prominent individuals, including the local prefect. This led to his discovery and he was reported as a Christian to Emperor Diocletian in 286.…

Saint Pio of Pietrelcina was a man of miracles and wonders. Not only did he create a long string of controversial accounts of apparitions and visions, he also created a legacy of followers, all praying to him for miracles and guidance. Famously known for the stigmata, amongst many other supernatural occurrences, he was a determined man dedicated to his vocation of service and prayer. We can all only hope to be as dedicated to our goals as he was, especially during those fifty years of suffering with the stigmata.
