Saint Philip Neri is an important person to learn about. Saint Philip Neri’s feast day is on May 26,1595, He was born on July 21,1515. Saint Philip Neri journed to heaven on May 26,1595. Saint Philip Neri was born in Florence, Italy.Saint Philip Neri has a lily as a symbol because he was so pure, his other symbols are a rosary, and an angel holding a book.

Some facts about Saint Philip Neri are that he loved the young,and in return he responded by crowding around him. As a youth Saint Philip Neri often visited seven principal churches of Rome. Sometimes he even spent his entire night at the catacombs near the tombs of martyrs.

Some other interesting facts are that he was a gracious, and cheerful saint was Rome's apostle of the sixth century
