Biography:
Saint Nicholas was born in Patara, Lycia, Turkey on March 15, 270 AD. As a young man, both of his parents died and he used their money to provide for the sick and poor. One of his most recognizable stories is when he gave 3 sisters 3 bags of money. He learned that they didn’t have enough money to pay off all their taxes, so he dropped 3 sacks of money down their chimney overnight. After 3 nights, the father spotted St. Nick and thanked him for all that he had done. The father used the money to marry one of his daughters.
Saint Nicholas’s miracle was when he checked into an inn and something was wrong. He used his holy powers and realized that the innkeeper had robbed and murdered some people and pickled them in barrels down in the
