Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude is a leading children's hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude was founded by entertainer Danny Thomas and opened on February 4, 1962.
