In the fictional story, Saint Iggy; published in 2006. K.L. Going tells the story of a 16 year old boy as he tries to make a contribution to the world. The story unfolds through the setting in which Iggy finds himself, and what the setting symbolises. Iggy’s school, Iggy’s house, and Uptown, all symbolise important matters.
In the beginning of Saint Iggy, Iggy finds himself in a predicament. He has to make a plan, to be allowed, to continuing going to school.
