Testimonial for St. Frances Cabrini St. Frances Xavier Cabrini was a perfect example of the Catholic faith, beginning her lifelong service as a little girl, following in the the steps of one of her primary role models: me, Rosa, her sister and teacher. Although our uncle and I guided her initially on her spiritual journey, Frances was an independent and self-sufficient young lady, securing a teaching license with the highest honors from the Daughters of the Sacred Heart. With her new license, my little sister was able to educate and serve the less fortunate of the world as she had always longed to do, but her dream was almost cut short when she contracted smallpox while caring for the ill.
