Benedict’s Prep, the slogan “What Hurts My Brother Hurts Me” is remembered by every member of the school. This slogan can slow down the learning process as everything accepts informations and materials differently. At St. Benedict’s Prep, students move on and unite as a group. The idea of moving along as a gourd doesn't translate well when put in the learning process. Some kids accepts materials faster than others. Its difficult for the faster learner as they have to wait for the slower learners. According to an AP student at Mater Dei Prep, “I would not want to be in a regular class because I'm a faster learner and I absorb information faster.” Everyones unique and different in their own ways, people absorb and learn materials differently throughout different methods and practices. Benedict's Prep is considered unethical and illogical. They’re style are very different from other schools and should not be modified or followed. Their practice of “togetherness” is brought to an extreme and can hurt students. Others school should not modify St. Benedict's Prep because their style of “togetherness” will slow down a students learning process, students don't want to be controlled by adults, and lastly these students will get tired and destroyed by their extreme hard work. School should be a place where students socialize and individuals excel. School should not be treated a military training camp. School is a place where young adults are transitioning to real adults for the challenging outside
