When I reflect back on this assignment the most vital lesson I learned is to allow the evidence to guide your conclusion. Our group created a well put together PICO question comparing two conservative treatments for knee osteoarthritis (OA). Prior to this literature review, our group was in agreement one intervention would be more beneficial in improving function and reducing pain in patients with knee OA. All of the background information pointed towards one being more effective than the other. However, the research available did not support this statement.
