Srg Force Sports Case Study

Brandon Logan is the President of SRG Force Sports. SRG Force Sports is a 501(c)3 organization that was established as a life skills development organization to engage and encourage young people living in the urban core. Mr. Logan is from San Antonio, Texas and attended Madison High School. While at Madison High School, he was a part of the football program where he started to establish the foundation of SRG Force Sports. During his time at Madison, he was fortunate to live in a two-parent house hold- however he realized his teammates weren't as lucky. Many of the boys on the team lived in a single-parent household and didn't get a lot of the opportunities Mr. Logan may have received. Mr. Logan believes this will increase your non-profit's human and financial capital. The fourth step is to have a diverse portfolio with different organizations. This means that the more connections your non-profit has with other organizations; the more credibility it will add to yourselves. The fifth step is infrastructure. Having a solid and concreate foundation will allow your non-profit to strive. Mr. Logan expressed this means having a good team and staff is the key to allowing positive growth for your organization. The sixth and final step of the system model is scale. Scale means to have a system that can support your beneficiaries. Essentially, having a good scale is having a functioning system that will allow your organization do the intended job that you set it out to do. For example, SRG Force Sports mission is to provide quality, organized, and structured programs that will enhance the overall development of children and youth through the power of sports.
