A practical nursing student already knows the expectation that they must uphold the policy of how to conduct themselves in class as outlined in the Sprott Shaw expectations hand out. All nursing students will already uphold these values as a student but as nursing students we spend a year and a half with our peers and our facilitators. Although we all treat nursing school as a job with similar expectations in the classroom we will become close with our peers. While still being professional in the classroom there shouldn’t be the focus on judgment of our peer interactions in our classroom as well because our relationship with each other extends past professional and is a friendship. These friendships we build we will maintain professionally in lab but in class I think the environment should be more relaxed promoting us to build these lasting connections with one another so we can support each other and evaluating our participation in all aspects of the program could inhibit
