TWO spring-locked suits,in a restaurant Named Spring-Bonnie, and Fredbear or Golden Freddy. The spring-lock mechanisms in them were very faulty, a murderer named, "Purple Guy" used the Spring-Bonnie suit for his killings.

Purple Guy came back to the restaurant to mess up the animatronics, he awoke the ghosts of the five children he murdered. However, Purple Guy ran into Spring Bonnie. He wore it to get out of sight of the children.
The suit was faulty, which means Purple Guy, DIES!
30 years later, Employees found Springtrap, and 'salvaged' him for the FAZBEAR'S FRIGHT HORROR attraction.
However a fire broke out, which either killed or didn't kill Springtrap.
