Well, for our campus, we actually have two separate lunchrooms that we have the choice of dining in. They are the Greenwood Dining Hall and the Springs Dining Hall. I don’t mean to brag, but they are both far better than flea food! Springs has food you can take with you back to your dorm, but there is not a very large selection of food. The upside is that the food is always good and fresh. Each meal you get is charged separately and is usually more expensive. You first arrive at the large glass doors and instantly know you are in for a treat. The first thing you see inside is the greeter. The person standing at the door is usually my favorite woman Mrs. Yolanda. She usually wears a white PC shirt. She takes your Presbyterian College I.D. card and swipes it to charge your meal on your account. It’s also very hard not to notice the outrageously loud conversations going on in the background. It’s usually coming from the multicolored wave of students sitting in the room; however, faculty and staff are somewhat to blame. There’s also the occasional scraping and scratching noises of wooden tables and chairs across the tile floor. While most people believe that the scenery is what makes the lunchroom special, I believe it’s the people you meet that makes it special.
