Spring Into Health Event Analysis

There are many different audiences that we are trying to attract towards the “Spring Into Health” event. One of the most specific groups we are striving to get in touch with are the commuters of the surrounding communities. Due to the event being held on a Sunday, persuading commuters to participate will be one of the most important aspects of the event. Another group we are attempting to reach are people that want to learn more about their health or that are interested in learning tips in regards to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Also, although they would be a smaller sized population, I would have to say health professionals that are trying to make connections with other professionals to better their business or practice are our last target audience. It is hosted by State Representative Rosemary Brown, Pocono Medical Center, East and JDRF. Rosemary Brown, a republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, was first elected to the 189th Legislative District of Pennsylvania in November of 2010. Currently, the group must wait for a finalized list of vendors before any plans, activities or demonstrations can be scheduled. This exposition will take place at Stroudsburg High School’s gymnasium located on Main Street in Stroudsburg. Vendors must provide an inter-active demonstration at their assigned booth or it can be done as an activity, which will be held at specific time slots. Examples of events would be, informational health sessions and screenings, healthy food demonstrations, live entertainment or group fitness activities. Vendors cannot sell any goods or services due to restrictions of Rosemary Brown. Vendors must also be interactive, and their subject matter chosen must be geared towards health or safety issues.
