Spring Breakers 35.7144° N, 83.5114° W. Elevation 3,300 feet (1,000 m). Total population 3,944. Yes, Gatlinburg, Tennessee was to be our spring break destination. I would be near the birthplace of Dolly Parton and was a temporary home of, actor, Jim Bakker. When I was told about the potential trip to the beautiful Smoky Mountains, I was beyond thrilled.

After to finding out the prodigious news, I started to count don't down the months, that faded into weeks, which then withered down to days. My family, plus my aunt’s family, decided to make this a small family getaway. When the day came to leave, I was excited because it was the first time that I had been to The Smokies. Our first stop was for breakfast in Alabama. Ready to roll out of the crimson state, after eating a fulfilling breakfast, we headed out for the longest fragment of time on the road. Luckily I had all of my gadgets to help me through it. In the car, the idea consisted of photographing the mountains to watching movies. And I would do it all again.

Finally the never ending car ride came to an end when we pulled up to our cabin. Sadly our excited moods faded when we learned that the cabin was not ready and there was a 4 hour delay. We decided to go explore the town. Along the sides of the roads ,in the main area of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, we saw tons of fair like rides and events. Our days of gray slowly morphed into a nice afternoon of nothing but pure fun.

We decided that we should go to the race track and try it. After paying and got all set we began the race. After the racing was done, I came out to be 2nd place behind my uncle, but I was ahead of my two older cousins, my mom, and my aunt. After dinner, gift shops, malls, and a little more exploring, we returned to our cabin that was finally ready. When we walked in we were
