During the school year, extracurricular activities are greatly recommended. This promotes a healthy lifestyle, a strong social life with peers, and enhances the player’s self-esteem. When the students are involved in sports they are constantly getting physical activity, which promotes a healthier lifestyle. They have a stronger social life with their peers, which could also help them out in the future as well. They also have a greater personal confidence, and self-esteem. Many people greatly recommend that if they are in high school you should try to participate in a physical activity, such as football, basketball, volleyball, or cheerleading. When students are involved in sports they tend to have a healthy lifestyle, fantastic friendships with other friends, and greater personal confidence. When students get involved in sports they are creating a healthy lifestyle for themselves. When the students are involved in a sport they are less likely to be overweight. They are constantly exercising which helps them manage a certain weight which promotes great health. The friends they make when they are involved in sports are usually more academic oriented. They can be more self motivated. They also reach for higher goals in their life. The students learn to work as a team with their other teammates, and this could also help them when they reach adulthood. The athletes work together and create a bond that is hard to break. They learn to deal with difficult teammates and coaches, which in real life they have to deal with coworkers.
