Sports Influence With Middle School

Decent Essays
Once you start middle school you will notice that sport interfere with school quite a bit. It is very annoying and can make go a little nuts but it can be overcome but not easily.
In fifth grade sports were barely involved and when I had to leave school early the teachers would make sure I was prepared and I didn’t have to get anything, I had time before practice to do everything, and you had very little to do. I came from having so much time on my hands in between School and practice that I just got to finish everything and then I got home and I was done with everything and I would get to go to bed and be rested for the next day. Now I have very little time to do anything before an activity. In fifth grade I didn’t have any stress about anything

According to Nix After School Sports, "$1,300 per football player each season and $618 per math student.…

The list could go on and on about what is wrong with high school sports in this generation. It starts when they’re young, parent coaches who only qualify because they played the specific sport when they were younger. That is brought into high school, with their child playing the same sport they “coach”, not getting to experience anything other than what their parent’s knowledge and what they could tell them. High school is the preparation stage for college, both academically and athletically.…
