Their are hundreds of thousands of sports injuries a year, so why not tell years of injuries from different sports? Sports like football can be very dangerous like jamming your fingers or breaking bones, but how many injuries were their in 2012? The top 10 most dangerous sports in 2012 were track and field, gymnastics, cheerleading, wrestling, volleyball, softball, baseball, soccer, basketball, and last but not least football. Track and field had 25,910 injuries, gymnastics had 28,300 injuries, cheerleading had 37,770 injuries, wrestling had 40,750 injuries, volleyball had 43,750 injuries, softball had 58,210 injuries, baseball had 119,810 injuries, soccer had 172,470 injuries, basketball had 389,610 injuries, and finally football has 394,350 injuries. Surprisingly the number 1 most dangerous sport was`nt football. But instead of injuries we are going to be talking about the most deaths in sports in 2015 which is more deadly and will make people not want to do or play that sport. Starting with football 9+ deaths, rugby with 12+ deaths, wrestling 13+ deaths, eventing 18+ deaths, cycling 22 deaths, sailing or yacht racing 30+ deaths from either drowning, getting hit by the boat, bad weather, and many more, car racing 40+ deaths, motorcycle racing 48+ deaths, soccer 67 deaths, and last but not least BASE jumping with over 219 deaths in 2015. It is surprising that BASE jumping had the most deaths in 2015 but you are falling from the sky, with a suit, with a parachute so of course it can be really dangerous. Like you can fall to your death and possibly have a heart attack if you are afraid of
