Sports Drinks Persuasive Speech

Nowadays all one sees in teenagers hands is iced tea, Gatorade or some type of sugary beverage. While teens do sometimes take what they eat into account teens don’t usually consider whether or not what they are drinking is good for them. Sports drinks aren’t all bad though, there are certain times when they are necessary to refuel the body.
According to the infographic (source A) the times when it’s actually healthy to eat sports drinks are if your workout is longer than 60 minutes or if you are a salty sweater. Sports drinks are filled with electrolytes and can help replace lost nutrients during workouts. Source B states that fluid replacement is important if one works out without replenishing the body’s water dehydration could occur which
