Maserati has been serving worldwide through the cars it produces in various segments like sports, luxury, SUV (Grand Tourer, Saloon and Sports Car) etc. The mission of this brand has always been to build ultra-luxury cars with a chunk of Italian style. Ghibli debuted for the first time in the year 1966 and was tagged on the 9th position on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s, by American magazine 'Sports Car International '. With a glorious past, Maserati has dominated the markets by creating an array of variants in the Ghibli segment and is the latest fruit of Italian innovation. The luxury sedan has also been awarded by the 2 most esteemed safety rating programs that are acknowledged globally. It has achieved a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP along with a score of 86/100 and has been issued by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) that approves it to be in the slice of the safest cars in each area.

The sports sedan comes in 4 variants, out of which 3 are of petrol engine and one carry a diesel engine. The petrol variants are namely, Maserati Ghibli, Maserati Ghibli S, Maserati Ghibli S Q4 that carry an engine capacity of 3.0-litre and churns out the maximum power between 326-405hp at 4500-5000 rpm while delivering a peak torque in the range of 500-550Nm at 1750-5000 rpm. On the other side, the diesel variant returns a potential of 271hp at 4000 rpm and the torque of 600Nm at 2000-2600 rpm, proving its sporty soul on the road. Appropriate for long distance traveling, the petrol variants are equipped with 80-litre fuel tank capacity while the diesel variant consists of 70-litre fuel tank capacity.
