A: SportChek is Canada’s largest retailer for sporting equipment and clothing and is owned by Canadian Tire
Q: Why do you want to work for Sport Chek? / Why did you apply for SportChek?
A: I want to work for SportChek because I like to be involved in sports and working with other people and in teams. SportChek provides a great opportunity to allow me to do both.
Q: What is your greatest strength?
A: My greatest strength would be that I work well with others and in teams.
Q: What is your greatest weakness?
A: My greatest weakness is sometimes I tend overthink a situation.
Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A: I see myself in a university or college studying towards a bachelor degree in Science.

Q: Why should I hire you?
A: I am a hard worker; a quick learner and I work well with others, and I have a passion for sports.
Q: What is your background in sports/Do you play any sports?
A: I grew up playing hockey and continue to play now as well as playing basketball and badminton recreationally with friends.
Q: Tell us about a time where you had to go above and beyond for a job or in school?
A: So during my time as a Ride Attendant at the PNE, my ride was broken just as we were about to start the ride and there were these two guests that had entered the ride with tickets and once you put the tickets in the box, you can’t physically get it back, so the customer was quite upset as they had lost out on a ride and couldn’t get their tickets back, so I decided to run to the rides office and find a manager and told them what happened and they were able to give the customers a pass that acted as their tickets for them.
Q: Who is your inspiration?
A: My inspiration is Conor McGregor, the UFC fighter, because he is a great example of dedication and hard work as back in 2013 he was collecting welfare checks from the Irish Government and in 4 years, he became a 2-division champion and the highest paid fighter in the UFC, making 100 million dollars in one

A: A goal I achieved was when I ran under ten and half minutes for the six-lap test in P.E. class. In the first term, my time ten minutes and fifty-two seconds. I achieved this goal by running three laps on the track, twice a week during my free time, and second term my time was ten minutes and seventeen seconds.
Q: Why do you feel it is important to stay active?
A: Staying active keeps you in shape and it helps give you the energy and confidence to perform better whether it being a game or on a test.

A: Being active to me means that you are motivated to keep your body in good physical shape and sustaining a healthy lifestyle.
