Spirituality and religion play a large role in the lives of most Americans and almost everybody around the world. There are some people who take religion more serious than others, and practice at least parts of their religion every day. These people live by their religion and their thoughts, beliefs, actions and behaviors are all guided by their religion or spirituality. There are people like myself who believe in what could be considered two beliefs, although they have different names their main focus is the same. Although I don’t consider Karma being a religion because it doesn’t necessarily have a God, I do consider it to be a belief. This would be an issue for someone who is deeply into their religion and is not able to see the difference. …show more content…
Unfortunately those two girls were a part of the drunk woman’s instant Karma, then again the belief that everything happens for a reason is also a part of Karma. Not that the two victims were terrible people and they deserved this, but this terrible accident was calculated to teach a lesson or allow spiritual growth to those close to them. This is something I agree with, I also believe that they served their God given purpose on Earth and were ready to go to heaven, based on past experience I believe that is usually the case when people die young. These beliefs are what guide my actions and could be confusing to someone who is a firm believer of one faith.
Religion shapes everyday behaviors of those like myself who say grace before they eat. Many different religions implement some type of praying or blessing of their food before they eat it. The Catholics, Christians, Muslims, all say prayers over their food at the table before they eat, while Jews offer a blessing of thanks for their digestive systems in the mornings. Whichever way it is expressed the meaning behind it is still the same, being thankful for the food you have and knowing there are people who do not have any food, blessing the food and nutrients it will bring to your body to keep you

There are people who believe that there religion is right and everybody who believes in anything else is wrong, there are also those who blatantly disagree with some religions and insult or attack individuals that belong to that religion. This is why most people avoid talking about religion in social settings, to avoid the possibility of saying something contrary to someone’s beliefs that could offend them. Religion, spirituality, and beliefs all play a somewhat large role in the everyday lives of people, they shape their actions, thoughts and behaviors usually
