Social factors are the factors that push individuals to take their own lives; per Durkheim “people who have weaker social ties are more likely to commit suicide”. It comes from individuality, disconnection from others; not having the emotional support to accomplish what is needed to be able to manage the issues of daily lives. Spiritual support and social environment are key factors for a person to have a healthy life in society. It has been known that when someone is alienated for how they look, or how they behave, if that person does not have the moral support needed is difficult to functions and in many cases they feel take their own life is the solution. Culture also may be a factor that pushes these teens to take drastic decisions.
