Jesus does not need to say that if it is the will of God you will be healed because he is God and knows what the will of God is. The key was that they healed in the name of Jesus. Oden pg 537 talks about the Spirit in the present age. This is the age of the Spirit, he is among us in a way like never before, filling the hearts of every believer. True Christians believe in the Spirit, but there are many who questions the activeness of the Spirit or his authority. The Spirit is equal in power and divinity to the other two persons of God. There are even more that do not believe in the Spiritual world and Spiritual warfare happening all around us. The Spirit is here with us, but demons are also around us. We probably do not see demon possessions in America often because we do not believe in them so the devil’s power so why would he show it to us when he can instead keep us in the dark? It is much easier for him to tempt us to spend our day watching TV instead of reading our Bible or serving others. Being healed is not continent on ones faith, but the devil will use this as an opportunity to place doubt in someone’s heart. He will make us believe that if our prayers are not instantly answered or not answered in the way we wanted, that we do not have a strong enough faith or that God does not care about our little
