Spire Rehabilitation Hospital opened its doors on July 1, 2017, and Dr. Davidson Curwen has been instrumental in the successful transition from the rehabilitation unit on the fourth floor of Jackson Madison County General Hospital to the new hospital located at 616 West Forest Avenue. Dr. Curwen has served as Medical Director for over 25 years, and will continue to lead in the position in our new hospital. Our hospital assist patients recover from life altering conditions by restoring their functional abilities, such as, walking, talking, bathing, and other self-care tasks.

Dr. Curwen received his education from the University of California, and completed his internship and residency at St. Vincent’s in New York City. He is board certified
